Socials

Socials are an important part of Lifesaving, we live by the well known rule; work hard, play hard, and since lifesaving is dubbed one of the most demanding multi-discipline sports, we feel it's only fair (...and necessary) that we play hard!

To kick off the year we will be having a fresher's social. As the first social of the year its purpose is to welcome in new club members, give potential members a taster of what lifesaving involves! And for current members to have a catch up!

Soon after we will be having our Halloween social, traditionally this has been a pub crawl event, the route of which will be confirmed nearer the date. Fancy dress essential! Be sure to put 31st October into your diary!

We aim to hold regular social events, this ranges from drinks and a meal before and after training, to pub crawls, and not forgetting the social after the London competition. We also attend socials after competitions that we attend in other parts of the country.
