Club History

The ULU Lifesaving club began life as a society in the 1980s. It was set up by members of the Essex Branch of Royal Lifesaving Society who wished to continue their involvement in lifesaving whilst at university.

In 1998, with lots of hard work from numerous members, we finally became a sports club.
